HEMPEL Thinner 808 750ml

The Hempel Thinner No. 3 is the perfect solution for those few special situations where thinning is necessary. This thinner can also be used as a tool cleaner. Designed for Hempel’s Antifoulings, Non-Slip Deck Coating and spray thinner for 1K topcoat.

Specification

• Colourless (08081-00000)
• Thinning using this should be kept at a minimum
• Blended to give the best results with regard to brush ability & spray properties
• Tools can usually be cleaned with the thinner prescribed for the product
• Store at temperatures 5℃ (41℉) to 35℃ (95℉)

Application

• Please ensure you are using the correct thinners for the application.
• Paint can be thinned to improve its flow characteristics and to increase its ability to be absorbed. Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum recommended ratio of Thinners as this can adversely effect the product.
• When paint is thinned, the spreading rate will increase and the paint will be easier to work with. On the other hand, the dry film thickness will be thinner when the solvents have evaporated and it may be necessary to apply another coat to obtain the required film thickness.
