Sikaflex ® – 295 UV is a one-component polyurethane adhesive in paste form that cures with atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex ® – 295 UV meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organization.

Fields of Application

Sikaflex ® – 295 UV has been developed specifically for the marine industry, where it is used to bond and seal plastic glazing materials on boats and ships. Due to its excellent UV resistance this product can also be used to seal joints with severe exposure. Ask our Technical Service for instructions before using Sikaflex ® – 295 UV on thermoformed plastics. Suitable substrates include:

• Aluminum (bright or anodized)
• GRP (polyester resin)
• Stainless steel
• Wood
• 2-component paints
